If you live in a regional part of the UK, it may have been difficult in the past to find connecting flights to international destinations. However, things are changing in the right direction.
Although the three airports of London remain the hub of UK Flights there are now many more international flights available directly from the regional airports. And not just the main airports such as Manchester and Birmingham, which is great news for people living outside of the London area.
For those of you living in England you have a wide range depending on where you live. For example from Southampton you can travel to over 50 European destinations, including Spain, France and the Netherlands. From Norwich you can fly to Majorca and the Netherlands amongst others.
Exeter offers a wide choice of holiday destinations such as Turkey, Barbados, Canada, Egypt, Cyprus and the Dominican Republic, and this is only a few of their destinations!
From Scotland, Glasgow can get you to Dubai, France, Spain, Portugal and Turkey amongst others; and Edinburgh can connect you to many European destinations.
Cardiff Airport can link you to Spain, the Canaries, Egypt and Cyprus plus many others, and on the other side of the water Belfast Airport offers a wide range of destinations including Spain, Portugal, Poland, France, the Canaries and the Netherlands.
