20th January 2008   The link to our stand at GENfair has changed.
26th August 2007   Our 2007/2008 syllabus of meetings and events is now available. See the What's On page.
25th January 2007   Kingussie & Insh parish added to 1851 Census Index.
25th January 2007   Our office at Suite 4, Third Floor, Albyn House, 37A Union Street, Inverness, IV1 1QA is now open every Tuesday from 9am to 5pm.

20th January 2007   Alvie and Laggan parishes added to 1851 Census Index.
21st August 2006   UK postage rates were changed on 21st August 2006 and our publications pages now reflect the changed rates.
17th April 2006   The content of our Article Index Search has been extended to show the different topics that are included.
1st April 2006   The content of our Gravestones Index Search has been extended to show the different surnames that are included in our published Monumental Inscriptions volumes.
Similarly, the content of our Family Tree Search,    1851 Census Index Search,
Query Index Search,    and Surname Interests Index Search pages has been extended to show the different surnames included in the indices.
27th March 2006   A picture of our meeting place for workshops, inside the Main Library, at Farraline Park, Inverness, has been added to the What's On - Forthcoming Events page.
5th March 2006   A picture of the Methodist Church, Huntly Street, Inverness, where we hold our meetings, has been added to the What's On - Forthcoming Events page.
20th January 2006   Ardersier parish added to 1851 Census Index.
15th January 2006   The talk by Graham MacDonell due on 24th January has been swopped with that due on 28th March by Ross Mackenzie. What's On now shows the corrected information.
2nd November 2005   Applecross parish added to 1851 Census Index, completing the mainland parishes for Ross and Cromarty.
4th September 2005   Our Syllabus of meetings and events is now available. See the What's On page.
7th August 2005   Our Joining Form page has been changed to reflect that we now accept cheques denominated in Sterling only.
31st July 2005   An advisory message is now being displayed when the Interests Surname Search finds no names.
18th July 2005   Glenelg parish added to 1851 Census Index.
26th April 2005   New postage rates published.
5th February 2005   4 parishes added to 1851 Census Index.
24th January 2005   1 parish added to 1851 Census Index.
22nd January 2005   2 parishes added to 1851 Census Index.
6th January 2005   2 parishes added to 1851 Census Index.
20th December 2004   Font face and size changed to make the site more accessible. The site can now be viewed by people who use Internet Explorer 5 on Macintosh computers.
18th December 2004   6 parishes added to 1851 Census Index.
5th December 2004   10 parishes added to 1851 Census Index.
27th November 2004   4 parishes added to 1851 Census Index.

31st October 2004   The 1851 Census Index now includes all Caithness parishes.
30th October 2004   1851 Census Index Search enhanced to show ages.
14th October 2004   2 burial places added to Gravestones Index.
8th October 2004   Minor corrections to the Interests Index Search pages.
29th September 2004   1 burial place added to Gravestones Index.
22nd September 2004   Maintain Interests and Interests Surname Search functionality added.
Our Privacy, and Terms and Conditions statement has been changed to reflect the new functionality.
